I have been using remote desktop on my MAC for most 2 years, for a PC based program that I need for work. Within the last few months it has been crashing a lot and even deleted my program a few times recently. Is anyone else having these issues?

I try not to change from MAC to a PC and so I want to get access to my files and programs I have admission to when I use a PC. I accept some issue with RemoteApp and Desktop Connection, I tin download the .rdp file on my MAC only it however but download the file even I have installed the Microsoft Remote Desktop and choosen to apply it when open the .rdp file. What do I do wrong? Its on a Windows Server 2012

Worked quite well until I updated this morning (Big Sur 11.6). Now will not connect... non even in the Beta version updated 3 days ago.

Fifty-fifty creating .rdp files on my PC and using the MRD app on my Mac to import the file results in no connection between the ii devices. I merely cannot fathom why this app refuses to work by manually entering the information or using the import role. If anyone knows what may be causing the problem I'd capeesh knowing how to get around it.
